AERD Awareness Day - Tell the World Your AERD Story

AERD Awareness Day is finally here! The Samter's Society is thrilled to announce several new resources for AERD patients.

Allergy & Asthma Network has a new toolkit available on their website for patients and doctors. The AAN toolkit includes a brand new printable Fact Sheet on AERD. The AAN Fact Sheet is also available on our resources page.

Dr. Tanya Laidlaw of the Brigham & Women's AERD Center and Dr. White of Scipps Clinic have developed a printable Guide to AERD for Physicians. This is available on the AAN Website as well as our own resources page. Patients are encouraged to print this document and give a copy to all of your medical providers.

AERD Awareness Day Events

The Go Fund Me campaign to raise money for AERD research is now live. Please share it with your friends and family and ask them to make a contribution to support AERD research. Be sure to share your own AERD story. Tell people how this disease has impacted your life when you ask them to make a contribution. We've set a goal of $20,000. Every donation, no matter how small, will help us reach that goal. Share your own AERD story on social media #AERDawareness and ask your followers to make a contribution to support AERD research.

There will be a Q & A live Facebook event in our support group on Facebook. Dr. John V. Bosso (medical director) and Dr. Nithin Adappa (surgical director) of the Penn Medicine AERD Center will answer patient questions at 6:30 PM ET on 9-26-18.

Follow Samter's Society on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. We will be posting AERD Awareness Day graphics (like the ones below) throughout the day and need your help to spread the word!
