The Samter's Society
Welcome to The Samter's Society
The Samter's Society is an advocacy group for those affected by Aspirin Exacerbated Respiratory Disease (AERD), also called Samter's Triad. We are dedicated to raising awareness of AERD and helping patients find resources to manage the disease.
AERD is a chronic inflammatory disorder that consists of asthma, recurrent nasal polyps, and reactions to aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Treatments
Learn about AERD treatment options including anti-leukotriene medications, aspirin desensitization, biologic medications, and diet modification.
Support Group
